    • what is a positive symptom?
      symptoms which are 'added' to an individuals behaviour/ excess of normal functioning

      delusions of persecution- someone is trying to kill them
      delusions of grandeur- they are famous/talented

      a sensory experience in absence of any real stimulus

      visual- seeing things
      auditory- hearing voices that aren't yours
      tactile- feeling something touching you

      incoherent speech

      word salads- jumbled and ungrammatical speech
