• Contagious Disease


  communicable disease that is easily transmitted; direct exposure
• Isolation


  separation of infected individual during period of communicability; until not contagious anymore
• TB after 2 weeks of treatment = NOT contagious
• Leprosy after 1 week of treatment = NOT contagious
• Chicken Pox: wait until all vesicles have dried = NOT contagious
• Infection - presence of microorganism inside the body
