    • Quackery - is a form of a health fraud in the advertisement, promotion, or sale of products and services that have not been scientifically proven safe and effective.

    • Placebo effect - The mind is a powerful influence on how one feels. This means that he/she feels better because his/her mind says he/she should feel better.
    • Self-limiting conditions - means that the condition runs its course even if the person does nothing at all.
    • SLEIGH ON HAND/USE OF MAGIC TRICK - Psychic surgery is an example of fakery that some quacks use to promote a false product.
