Simple diffusion

• Simple diffusion is when molecules have no problem going though the cell membrane and go directly through the phospholipid bilayer.
• Small nonpolar molecules like gas can pass through the cell membrane through simple diffusion
• Simple diffusion moves with the concentration gradient.
