    • paradigm/paradigm shift
      Agreed methods/assumptions within a science. For a new science to be created there needs to be a paradigm shift - the methods/assumptions should be challenged.
    • objectivity
      There is a clear, unbiased answer.
    • replicability
      Research/studies should be able to be repeated by other researchers.
    • construction of theory
      This is when the aims/theory of research is created after the research has taken place. Construction of theory is based on empirical evidence.

      All research should have a testable, precise statement.

      These are scientific methods
    • Falsifiability
      Something can only be considered scientific if it is falsifiable. Falsifiability is when something can be proven wrong.
