    -should be detailed so others can replicate
    -should include: design; sample & sampling method; apparatus/materials used; procedure; ethical issues & how they were overcome

    -summarise key findings
    -quant: descriptive stats; measure of central tendency & measure of dispersion; inferential stats
    -qual: analysis e.g., key themes
    -no raw data
  • discussion
    -build on findings - draw conclusions, link back to research in intro
    -criticise their own research - what they could do differently
    -wider implications

    -full details of any source material cited
