  • what do postmodernists think about schools?
Schools are now diverse and more consumerist than before. Education has changed to meet the needs of a postmodern society.
  • how has education changed?
-education is more individualised e.g., teachers have to use multiple approaches to accommodate.
-education is hyperreal e.g., online learning.
-education is more diverse e.g., specialist schools.
-education is fragmented e.g., working class feel alienated, upper class children have a better experience.
  • AO3 - postmodernism on education
-schools cannot teach us a value consensus as there is more diversity and people have varying norms + values.
