  A rigid rotating helical-shaped tail used for movement. It’s shape helps cell spin through fluids- not in all bacteria.

  Polysaccharides
• What is the capsule used for?

  Used to protect the bacteria from other cells and helps groups of bacteria stick together for more protection-not in all bacteria.
