  • The Philippine Army is tasked to organize, train, equip and provide ground forces for the conduct of prompt and sustained security operations, independently or jointly with the other armed services, to achieve the defined mission whether in war or in peace.

    • Personal act of responsibility manifested by accomplishing all assigned tasks
    • Any civilian and any person intending to join the military service must understand that the soldier’s dedication to the military life
    • Selfless service in which the welfare and the accomplishment of the mission come ahead of our individual desires.
    • Not imposed. It derives its authority from the soldier’s steadfast commitment to the service of the country. 
    • Rendering service that demands our willingness to sacrifice even if it means giving up our lives in defense of our country
