  1- measure the mass on a balance

  2- calculate the volume using a ruler

  3- substitute into d=m/v
• finding the density of irregualar objects:

  1. measure mass using balance
  2. fill eureka can with water
  3. place object into the can
  4. water will flow out the spout into a measuring cylinder
  5. the volume of the water displaced = the volume of the iregular object
  6. substitute into d=m/v
