• Non-Competitive Inhibtion is the most potent type of Inhibition. This is because in locking onto the enzyme: It deforms the active site, and prevents future reactions from taking place -- Meaning no end products are produced.
• Splice site mutations result in some introns being retained and/or some exons not being included in the mature transcript. This is a type of single gene mutation.
