  • Linear plot

    A dramatic, progressive, and chronological structure. It is also the cliche type of plot.

    It consists of loosely and chronologically-arranged related events. Usually of chapter lengths tied by a common character or theme.
  • Parallel plot

    The writer weaves two or more dramatic plots that are linked by the common character or a similar theme.
  • Flashback plot

    It transports the audience to the protagonist's past, helping them understand the characters thought process and decision-making in the present
