• Sympathetic ophthalmia


  occurs from 10 days to several years following penetrating injury near the ciliary body or retention of foreign body in the eye
• Sympathetic Ophthalmia

  This may lead to bilateral blindness
• Sympathetic Ophthalmia

  This requires enucleation (surgery), Steroids (meds) and topical atropine (mydriatic)
