• When approaching the client, talk before touching him.
• When assisting the client in ambulation, the nurse should be a step ahead of the client. The clients unto the nurse's forearm.
• Encourage use of guide dog or use of cane for direction.
• The nurse should remove any obstacles or hazards from the client’s environment
