  72 children observed adults being agressive or gentle and getting punished or rewarded for that behaviour then the children got to play with the doll and were observed to see whether they woukd imintate the adults

  the children who observed the agressive adults became agressive with the doll, the boys overall was more agressive and if the model was similar to the child the imitation level of agression increased

  practical application- a Mexican soap opera used this theory to prevent unwanted pregnancies and HIV using role models

  lacks ecological validity as a behaviour would not be observed and then copy in real life and ignores biology and males are genetically more agressive due to hromones
