  when a person experiences discomfort due to a mismatch of sex at birth and gender identity'
• WHAT IS INTERSEX?

  person with biological attributes of either sexes/ do not fit with societal assumption of what constitutes males and females
• WHAT IS TRANSGENDER?

  people whose gender is not the same/ doesn't sit comfortably with sex at birth
• WHAT IS CISGENDER?

  someone whose gender identity is equal to their sex at birth
• WHAT IS GENDER-AFFIRMING?

  medical intervention/ changing names and pronouns/ dressing differently and living in self-identified gender
