    • What are the two types of alternative hypothesis?
      Directional and nondirectional
    • What is directional hypothesis?
States that the IV will have a specific effect on the DV, i.e. increase or decrease
    • What is an nondirectional hypothesis?
States that the IV will have an effect on the, but the direction is unknown
    • What is a null hypothesis?
Statement which predicts the IV will not affect the DV
    • What word is changed for hypothesis for correlations and what is it changed to?
Difference is replaced with correlation or relationship

    • What is the nondirectional hypothesis given?
