Record keeping

• Records must provide :

  • where an escape has taken place, damage or injury that has been caused, the reason for escape, damage or injury
• Must include food, diet, behavioural and life history data, date of death and results of post mortem
• Must include clinical data, any treatment that has been given
• sex, distinctive markers, date or birth or hatching, origin (wild/captive/parents/previous location)
• Identification and scientific name, dates of entry and disposal from, the collection and to and from who
