w.c want to avoid any type of debt. university is unappealing to them because of the student debt. therefore less opportunities. and so they are more appealed to immediate gratification as they have money immediately and there is no chance of debt

cant afford to live away so they go to unis local. family of wc-less money to support. less access to social activities so less chance of socialising.
WORK OUTSIDE OF UNI
part time jobs so less time to focus on academia. uni day- 9-4 so need to work before or after- increased fatigue. but need jobs to afford uni
