    Non declarative - usually need to action to demonstrate , can’t easily put into words.
  • One AO3 strength
    Corkin -> worked with HM for a month mirror drawing a star between two lines
    • Every day
    • initially couldn’t do it but after a month HM could draw a perfect star in between the lines
    • looked into whether memories form together or on their own demonstrates we can form procedural memories on their own
  • One AO3 weakness
    • suggested that episodic memories are the gateway to semantic memories but unsure if semantic memories form in their own
    • this shows episodic have the most demand on the brain hence is most affected by brain damage
    • hence using brain damage patients is a weakness - don’t know what the person was like before
