• What does the Hypothalamus detect?


  The concentration of water in the bloodstream
• What happens if water levels are too low?


  The hypothalamus will send a signal to the pituitary gland.

  The hormone ADH will then release

  DH will tell the tubule to reabsorb more water into the blood
• What happens when the water levels are too high?

  The hypothalamus will stop sending signals to the pituitary gland so it wont release much ADH
