    4. n = total number of scores (ignore the 0s)

    when n = at the 5% level the critical value of a one/two tailed test is ....
    this is less/more than the calculated value , in order to be significant the calculated value must be equal to or less than the critical value and therefore the data is signficant/not significant and the null hypothesis should be accepted/ rejected
