acid
with an
insoluble

:
Add base to acid to produce soluble
salt
and
water
Excess
solid
will sink to the
bottom
of the flask
Filter solution to remove
excess
solid and leave only salt and water
Heat solution to
evaporate
some water and allow to try
Allow it to
crystallize
and
filter
solid and leave
to
dry
To make a pure sample of insoluble salt, a
precipitation reaction
can be used:
Pick two
soluble salts
and react them
