  • 2 - cries vigorously (+) sneeze, cough

  Appearance

  • 0 - blue; pale
  • 1 - acrocyanosis
  • 2 - pink

  Respiratory Rat e

  • 0 - absent
  • 1 - slow RR, weak cry
  • 2 - good cry
• Apgar Score

  Criteria:

  • 0 to 3 - need CPR
  • 4 to 7 - needs additional O2 and suctioning
  • 8 to 10 - good status
