• Two hemispheres of the brain left and right and each have 4 lobes linked with different brain functions:

   
• Frontal = speech, thought , learning, emotions and decisions
• Parietal = sensory information (touch temperature and pain)
• Occipital = visual information
• Temporal = hearing and memory.
• damage under activation and over activation may cause changes in behaviour
