Skin: Bronze Skin. Hyposecretion of adrenal cortex hormones triggers negative feedback mechanism. The anterior pituitary gland increases secretion of its hormones, which includes MSH. This causes hyperpigmentation.

Nursing Interventions in Steroid Therapy
Avoid exposure to infection. Steroids are immunosuppresants.
Monitor potassium and calcium. It may cause hypokalemia and hypocalcemia.
