• The Kidney removes

  • Urea
  • Excess ions
  • Excess water

  It stores these as urine in the bladder.
• The kidney filters out the blood, however some components reabsorb back into the blood.

  
  

  • Urea does NOT absorb back into the blood, it is completely removed.
