  -non-cummunicable(not caused by pathogens)

  -can be caused by dominant or recessive genes

  -can skip generations so can be a carrier but not have disorder

  FF - unaffected

  Ff - unaffected(carrier)

  ff - cystic fibrosis
• what do you have to have two of to have cystic fibrosis 


  two recessive alleles(ff)
• what allele cause polydactyly(extra fingers/toes)


  -dominant allele

  -child has 50% chance of getting disorder if one parent has a dominant allele

  PP - polydactyly

  Pp - polydactyly

  pp - unaffected
