  • Irony - literary device where a writer creates a scenario where the outcome is in contrast from what was expected.

  • Dramatic Irony - where the audience knows information that the characters in the story dont
  • Situational Irony - characters are in a situation that is ironic or contradictory to their actions or beliefs
  • Verbal Irony - words that have opposite meanings.
  • Entertainment Speech - aims to make a point in a manner that entertains the audience through humorous punch lines and jokes that are related to the topic of speech

  • Comprehensive Listening - active listening is required for this ,, comprehending and processing the information you listened to
  • Analytical Listening - to evaluate and analyze the message's content
