  • Human acts can be:
    • Good
    • Evil

  • Deliberation - It means the person has knowledge or awareness of his actions.
  • Freedom - It means that the person has complete control all over the act
  • Voluntariness - It means that the person who is aware and free of the act wills or desires an act to happen.
  • Good Act + Good Intention - An objectively Good act may receive more goodness
  • Bad Act + Bad Intention - An objectively evil act may become more evil because of bad intention
  • Good Act + Bad Intention - An objectively good act may become morally evil because of bad intention
  • Bad Act + Good Intention - An objectively evil act can never become good in spite of the good intentions
  • Neutral Action + Good Intention - An Indifferent or Neutral act may become morally good.
  • The Modifiers of Human Acts - Refers to those which affect the essential quality of knowledge, freedom, and voluntariness
  • Modifiers of Human Acts - Can lessen or increase the morality of the act

    • Ignorance
    • Passions
    • Fear
    • Violence
    • Habit
  • Ignorance - Lack or absence of knowledge that ought to be present
