• Use change: Latin mass was no longer used
• Physical change: Stone redos behind the high altar no longer had the images of Christ and the saints that has embellished it.
• Reredo - decorated (ornate) screen on the wall behind the altars
• Physical change: The high altar with its silver fittings was replaced by a wooden table
• Physical change: The Lady Chapel was left empty and unused. Other chapels were turned into court rooms, vestries or burial places
• Physical change: Some statues on the west screen were removed and the rest were whitewashed.
• Use change: Book of Common prayer was introduced, written in English
• Use change: Catholic bishops we imprisoned in the tower of London.
