I/V characteristics

• step 1 :


  set up as in diagram
• step 2:

  turn on ammeter and voltmeter before turning on the power pack to its highest power
• step 3:

  record data off of the ammeter and voltmeter
• step 4:

  decrease the power of the power pack by 1 increment and repeat step 3
• step 5 :

  repeat step 4 until you get to no power being emmited from the pack
• step 6:

  swap the wires in powerpack to change the direction of p.d
• step 7:

  turn power pack back on and read and record the results off ammeter and voltmeter
• step 8:


  now increase power by 1 incrament
• step 9:


  repeat steps 7 and 8 until you get back up to highest power
• step 10 :
