amylase and pH

• step 1:

  add 2ml of starch solution and 2ml of pH buffer solution to a beaker in a bath of water at 30'C
• step 2:

  use a pipette to add a drop of iodine to each well of the spotting tile
• step 3:

  add 2ml of amylase solution and start the timer
• step 4:

  every 10 to 20 seconds take a sample from the solution using a glass rod and add it to the tile
• step 5:


  when the sample doesnt change (black / blue) stop the timer and record data in a table
• step 6:

  repeat for all different pH solutions
