• step 1:

  pick up a slide from its edges
• step 2:

  use tweezers to peel the very inside layer of the onion
• step 3:


  place a thin layer of onion flat as possible on slide
• step 4:

  drop a single drop of iodine on top of onion layer
• step 5:

  pick cover slip up from slides and place on top of onion on the slide
• step 6:

  place on stage of microscope
