      Legal document- British psychological society that instructs psychologists in the uk about what behaviour is and isn't acceptable when dealing with participants.

      giving potential participants enough information about a study to enable them to choose whether they wish to participate. Overcome - p consent letter. Aware of right to withdraw.

      Not told true aims of study and therefore cannot give truly informed consent. Overcome- debrief at end of study, told true aims.
    • Protection from harm def and overcome
      Ensuring participations are not at more psychological/physical risk than normal in everyday life. Overcome- debrief= told behaviour typical and in extreme cases counselling is offered.

      Persons right to control flow of info about them
    • Confidentiality def
      Communication of personal info from one person to another and trust info is protected.

      Maintain anonymity of P. Remind them data is protected.
