  • Acoelomate
  • Triploblastic
  • Bilaterally symmetrical
  • The brain is connected to nerve cords
  • Has a parenchyma tissue
• Their gas exchange occurs through simple diffusion
• In terms of excretion, they eliminate NH3 (ammonia) through diffusion.
• In excretion again, platyhelminthes has a protonephridia or has flame cells and uses its cilia to draw in water and remove metabolic waste.
