There would be a smaller SA:V so nutrients won't be able to get absorbed to the inner cells as they are too far from the surface and will all be used up by the cells on the way there
What would happen if diffusion were to happen in a small organism (Unicellular)?
There would be a larger SA:V so it would be easier to absorb nutrients and expel waste from the surface of the cell
