• Growth charts allow health professionals to plot and measure child growth allowing comparison with healthy children of same gender and age to ensure they are healthy
• Used by health visitors and nurses
• Expected pattern of growth and development means what height and weight is healthy at certain ages
• Schedule of growing skills (SGS or SoGS)
