Akkusativ

• Use the accusative case for the DIRECT OBJECT ( the thing having the verb done to it). For example:

  'The dog ate the meat.'

  The meat is being eaten, so it's the direct object, so use the accusative case for 'the meat'.
• accusative = direct object (thing having the verb done to it)
