Prepositions

• Wechselpräpositionen (dual prepositions) can take either the ACCUSATIVE or the DATIVE.

  If there's movement from A to B, use the ACCUSATIVE!!
• Wechselpräpositionen:

  • in (in) [most common in acc.]
  • an (on a vertical surface)
  • auf (on a horizontal surface)
  • hinter (behind)
  • unter (under)
  • über (above/over)
  • vor (in front of)
  • zwischen (between)
  • neben (next to)
