'Tight fisted'- Scrooge holds onto his money and doesn't by things for others.

How Scrooge treats his nephew:
Very negative towards him, even though Fred is nice to him- 'Leave me alone then.'
Thinks that it is silly that his nephew got married- "Because you fell in love!' growled Scrooge, as if it were the only thing in the world more ridiculous"
Can't take Fred seriously.
Scrooge's attitude towards Christmas:
Hates it-"Merry Christmas" on his lips should be boiled with his own pudding, and buried with a stake of holy through his heart. He should!'
