    Can be understood by all ages in all languages as it consist of multiple frames, making it easy to understand. Can be used to show a process as it is easier to understand than reading text since scenes can zoom in and out.

    Can be time consuming to create as animated graphics requires multiple frames. It may also require specialist software which could be expensive to use.

    A form of tactile writing that uses dots on a page and is read by touch, making it a type of tactile image.
  • What does a braille do? 

    It represents letters or numbers that can be 'read' by touch which can be used by those with visual impairments, so it's another form of text.
  • What do braille terminals do?

    Convert characters on a screen into braille lime by line so that blind people can understand the information through touch.
  • What does a braille printer do?

    Can be used to output braille dot onto paper.
  • Give the benefits of braille?

    Allows visually impaired users to interact with a computer system using a braille terminal. A braille printer can print documents written using braille to be given to blind people to read.
  • Give the disadvantages of braille?

    Braille is not commonly used by many people except for visually impaired people so few resources are written using braille. Braille terminals can only display a limited amount of information at a time.

    Can be time consuming to create as it may require editing and narration for example. Useally takes up large amount of storage space.

    A textual form of information that can be shwon along with visual data such as a video. Subtitles are written to transcribe audio

    Can be used in environments where videos can be watched where audio cannot be played. Hearing impaired users can access audio information such as video by reading the subtitles.

    May be time consuming to type up and sync in time with the audio
