pH buffer

place the test tubes in a
water
bath
at
30
degrees
for
10
minutes so the solutions can reach the
right
temperatures

mix
the 3
solutions
into 1 test tube then place back into
water bath
and
start
stopwatch

after 30 seconds
transfer
a
drop
of
solution
to a
well
of iodine and it will turn
blue-black
showing
starch
is
present

take a
sample
every
30 seconds
and continue until
iodine
remains
orange
which shows
starch
is
no
longer
present

repeat
with
different
pH
buffers
