    The Beginning
     
    Chaos created night and dark, who created light and day
    who then created earth
    (Gaia), hell (Tartarus) and heaven (Pontus).

    The Titans
     
     
     
    Gaia created Uranus (the sky) and together they had twelve children called the
    Titans. They had other children too, but Cronus tried to kill them, so Gaia conspired
    with her son Cronus to defeat him. Then the titans ruled with Cronus as king.

    The Olympians
     
     
    Cronus was afraid his children would kill him, so he ate them! Their mother (Rhea) hid the final child (Zeus), who defeated Cronus. Zeus and his brothers and sisters won a war against the Titans and became the new rulers.
