Triglycerides

• Triglycerides have one glycerol molecule and three molecules of fatty acids
• In fatty acids the glycerol is always the same but the fatty acids tail vary
• after condensation ester (bonds) likes COCO (bonds)
• glycerol + fatty acids = triglycerides + water
• After condensation the 3 water molecules are removed and ester bonds form the glycerol and fatty acids
