Parts of a circle

• A line segment that connects the center of the circle to any point on the circle
• The length of an arc is called the arc length.
• An arc is part of a circle, usually measured by degrees or radians.
• The distance from the center of the circle to its edge.
• To find the size of a sector, multiply the angle (in degrees) by the square of the radius and divide it by 360.
• The perimeter is the distance around the outside edge
• The fixed point from which all points on the circle are equidistant.
• The diameter is the longest chord through the centre of the circle
