indep groups

• two groups of pps who must each experience a diff condition
• no order effects will influence pps as they only experience one condition
• individual differences can effect the results as the people in each group are different.
• more expensive than repeated measures as you need twice the amount of pps to get same amount of data, however it takes less time as both groups can do tasks simultaneously
