What are the key roles of active transport in organisms ?
In plants: Absorbs mineral ions from dilute soil solutions through root hairs.
In the human body: Absorbs sugar molecules from lower concentrations in the gut into the blood.

The test is biuret reagent and the positive solution will go from blue to lilac
How to test for sugars and what is the positive result?
The solution is benedicts reagent and you have to heat the solution at 80 degrees for 2 minutes. In a positive result, the solution will turn from blue to green or orange/yellow
