• Debate on its mandate that the government and private sector (Multi-sectoral partnership) will fund and undertake distribution of family planning devices

  ○ Ex: Condoms, pills, and IUDs
• Some view the contraceptives distributed by the DOH are abortifacients

  ○ Abortifacients: any drug or device that induces abortion or the destruction of a fetus
• The government is trying to enforce population control.
• It will teach teenagers about sex and teens will become irresponsible and fall slave to their sexual desires driven by their hyperactive hormones

  ○ Teenage pregnancy
• It will only make the pharmaceutical companies rich because it will mandate the government.
