    Dome shaped rubber cap that is inserted in the vagina.

  • How To Use
    Step 1:
    Place the spermicide inside the diaphragm’s cup.
    Step 2:
    Separate the lips of the vulva and pinch the rim of the diaphragm to fold it in half (for easier insertion)
    Step 3:
    Push the diaphragm as far as it can go, with the dome facing down. Make sure it is snug as it covers the cervix.
    Step 4:
    Leave it for 6 hours after sexual intercourse. You should not leave it for longer than 24 hours.
  • Mechanism of Action
    Blocks sperm from entering into the uterus and holds the spermicidal cream or jelly against the cervix that can immobilize or kill the sperm cells.
  • Effectiveness: 94% effective with perfect use
